Number of Agents

Why We Will Never Limit the Number of FFC Agents

We are often asked by our current agents whether we will ever limit the number of agents we have. The reason for this question is simple—nobody likes competition! Everyone dreams of being the sole supplier of a highly in-demand product.

When we get this question, our answer is always the same: We will never limit the number of Fine Fragrance Collection (FFC) agents.

Why?

We believe that the opportunity to become an FFC agent—an opportunity our current agents enjoy—should be available to everyone.

When we first started our agent program, we did consider limiting the number of agents. But then we asked ourselves: How many agents is the “right” amount? The truth is, we don’t know! Instead of arbitrarily deciding on a number, we’ve chosen to let the market decide.

What Does This Mean?

Let’s break it down:

  • If an agent purchases a Starter Pack of 30 bottles at R30 per bottle and cannot sell them for R60 per bottle (because there are too many agents in their area), they can still sell them for R30 per bottle—their original cost.
  • This means the agent does not lose any money at all because we charge no joining fees, no admin fees, and no hidden costs. The money agents pay goes directly toward stock only!

ZERO Risk for FFC Agents

Because there are no fees and the product demand is so high, becoming an FFC agent is a risk-free opportunity. If an agent decides there are too many agents in their area, they can sell all their remaining stock at cost price (R30 per bottle) without losing a cent.

Meanwhile, customers who are no longer serviced by that agent will naturally find another FFC agent to buy from because of the high consumer demand for our generic perfumes. Over time, this process will naturally determine how many agents the market needs.

This is how the free market system operates—and it’s why we’re proud to keep the opportunity open to everyone!
