Fine Fragrance Collection lotto competition terms and conditions

1. The promoter is Fine Fragrance Collection Thirty-Three (Pty) Ltd - 2022/58117/07 (“the Promoter”).

2. All people entering this competition (the entrants) agree that the competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions, are binding on them. A copy of these competition rules is available on the Fine Fragrance Collection website – FineFragranceCollection.com.

3. This promotional competition (“Competition”) is open to all customers are 18 years and older, residing in South Africa, who are in possession of a valid South African identity document, or other documentary proof of Identity and must have a bank account at one of the South African banks. Any director, member, partner, employee, or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers, suppliers, distributors, or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners, or immediate family members may not enter or participate in the Competition and will be disqualified from receiving a prize.

4. This Competition will start on 14 October 2024 (“start date”) and end on 28 November 2024 (“closing date”). The period from the Competition start date to the closing date is referred to as the “Campaign Period”. Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

5. To enter the Competition, a participant must (during the Campaign Period) must:

5.1 Receive their ticket from a registered agent;

5.2 The agent must write their agent number (received after applying to the agent incentive program on the Fine Fragrance Collection website), name and contact number on the ticket. This can only be done if they are a registered agent of Fine Fragrance Collection;

5.3 The participant will activate their entry by scanning the QR code on the ticket which will take them to the Promoter’s website namely FineFragranceCollection.com and will enter the following information: The unique ticket number on the front of the ticket, their full name as per ID or other official identity document, their South Africa ID number, contact number and email address.

6. Participants must keep their tickets as proof of entry. There are a limited number of tickets available to consumers.

7. A participant can only enter the competition once through the Identity Number which will be linked to the unique ticket number.

8. The Promoter or its representatives may block or disqualify participants from winning a prize or submitting further entries if the participant exceeds any entry limits, or any fraud or code manipulation is suspected.

9. If the entrant chosen does not comply with any of the competition instructions or terms and conditions, their entry will be disqualified.

10. Winners:

10.1 There will be 5 prize winners in total. A winner will be randomly drawn on air on the eTV channels stipulated on the ticket, every week, on Tuesday at 18h28 during the Campaign Period. The first draw will be on 29 October 2024 and the last on 26 November 2024. Winners will be notified telephonically when they will be required to provide and verify their details. After the draw, the Promoter (or their representative) will try to contact each winner once a day (during working hours) for 2 working days after their name is drawn. If a winner cannot be contacted or a winner’s relevant details cannot be confirmed during this period, the prize will be deemed forfeited and another winner will be drawn.

11. Successfully verified winners will be announced on the Fine Fragrance Collection marketing and social media channels on the Wednesday post the draw on Tuesdays. The winner announcement dates are as follows:

11.1 1st winner: 29 October 2024 (R100 000)

11.2 2nd winner: 05 November 2024 (R150 000)

11.3 3rd winner: 12 November 2024 (R200 000)

11.4 4th winner: 19 November 2024 (R250 000)

11.5 5th winner: 26 November 2024 (R1 000 000)

12. The prizes:

12.1 Each winner will win a cash prize per the amounts detailed at paragraph 11 above. Winners will be the person (after verification) whose details are written down on the ticket.

12.2 The prize money will be deposited into the winners’ nominated personal bank account via electronic funds transfer (EFT) as soon as practically possible after the prize winner’s details are verified but no later than 2 months after the Campaign period closing date.

13. Participants understand and agree that they may win a prize, but there is no guarantee that they will win a prize.

14. Each prize winner will only be entitled to one prize each.

15. The details of the prize will be entirely at the Promoter’s discretion – the winners will not be entitled to choose their prize.

16. By entering this Competition and as a condition to receive a prize, participants:

16.1 Consent to the processing of their personal information by the Promoter and its service providers, insofar as it is necessary to give effect to the Competition, for example, to view the entries, select and announce the winners publicly, and deliver the prizes. Winners will be given the opportunity to consent to further processing of their personal information;

16.2 Where applicable, waive their moral rights and grant the Promoter exclusive, unlimited, perpetual, and free-of-charge copyright and usage (in any territory where these entities trade), in all media forms of all material, text, and intellectual property created and/or published/posted by the participants in the submission of their competition entry. The Promoter will be entitled to use and edit the intellectual property in any manner and in its sole discretion, for an indefinite period of time and in any territory where it trades. Participants will not during or after the closing date of the Competition dispute or question such copyright and usage;

16.3 Where applicable, waive any right to demand royalties, usage fees, or any other form of compensation or payment for the use of intellectual property in the participant’s entry;

16.4 Sign an acknowledgment of receipt form and provide all relevant information requested by the Promoter’s representatives, including but not limited to the winner’s full names, and where applicable their ID numbers, contact details, and banking details; and

16.5 Consent that the Promoter may publish their names and photographs publicly on any platform and social media channel that they deem fit.

17. Any prize that cannot be deposited within 2 weeks of the prize draw due to reasons attributable to the winner, will be deemed forfeited in the Promoter’s sole discretion. Should this be the case, no further winners will be drawn.

18. Neither the Promoter nor its representatives or suppliers will be held responsible or liable for the failure of any technical element relating to this Competition that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted, or for prize money paid into the wrong account. The prize winners must ensure (and take full responsibility) that the correct banking details are provided to the Promoter. The Promoter will not under any circumstances resubmit a prize for payment.

19. The winners will not be entitled to payment, credit, or otherwise in the event that they do not receive or utilise the prize to the fullest extent possible.

20. The Promoter in its sole discretion is entitled to disqualify any winner:

20.1 Of a prize, who has won a prize in a competition conducted by the Promoter during the last 3 months before the winners of this Competition are drawn; or

20.2 Who at any time does not act in accordance with the spirit of the Competition, or if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or falsifying of data.

21. No applications from representatives, third parties, organised groups, or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

22. Prizes are not transferable and may not be deferred or exchanged for credit or otherwise.

23. The Promoter is entitled to change or terminate the Competition and/or prizes immediately and without notice if deemed necessary in its sole discretion. In the event of such change or termination, participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this Competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter, its suppliers, or representatives.

24. In the event that the prize is not available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value.

25. Neither the Promoter, its representatives, service providers, suppliers, associated companies, nor any directors, officers, or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant.

26. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

27. Participation in this Competition constitutes acceptance of, and an agreement to comply with these terms and conditions.

28. The winners may be requested to endorse, promote, and advertise any of the goods and services of the Promoter and will not unreasonably withhold their consent.

30. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any mainstream media channel (namely Etv and its subsidiaries) and/or social media channel and the participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and its agents only and not to any other entity or mainstream media or social media channel.

31. If the Promoter cannot continue with the competition for any reason beyond its reasonable control or if it is required by any regulatory terms or applicable law, it may end or alter the terms of the competition on condition that: a) No winner has been determined; and b) Reasonable notice has been given beforehand to all entrants.

32. If the competition ends as per paragraph 31 above, no entrants will have any claim of any nature whatsoever against the Promoter.


All deliveries cost R65 and take 14 working days. We deliver throughout South Africa, but some outlying areas cannot be delivered to.
